Here are some useful tips for beginners:
1. Quest as much as you can. Don't worry about losing unless you're holding a big amount of money which rarely happened to beginners.
2. If you got too much Equipments from a equipment box, don't throw them away or sell them for a cheap price. If you want, you can use an enchant stone to enchant them to make it a higher grade. ( You'll need two of the same equipment in order to enchant )
3.If you want to throw unneeded items, simply click on the item and move it out of the inventory window and click.
4. If people keep sending you gifts, don't think they're trying to persuade you to do anything! They just want to give beginners a gift so they can complete a quest, or get exp. Note: When lv.30+ gives a gift, it will gifted randomly to a beginner. They can't choose who they will send the gift to.
5. There are a few people that is spamming ads on selling atlantica golds. If it really annoys you, whisper them by typing /t <name of the spammer> in the chat. Then click Actions and click Block.
Here are some extra and maybe useful info:
1. When you sell an item in the market, it's price decreases/drops everyday. ( 24 hours )
2. Try to use towns with 1% tax rates whenever possible. Some towns have different tax rate.
3. Check your item pickup regularly! Even though you don't buy anything from the item mall. GM sometimes distribute something as a gift or to celebrate an event, etc.
4. The staff mercenary, the monk, is VERY useful. I recommend anybody to have it. You really need to becareful if you don't have a monk, because enemies can stun you easily.
5. If you are planning to have a new mercenary, save exp books so they can level faster. *Note*: After you used a high exp-giving book on a very low leveled mercenary, use small exp books afterwards. It may level that merc.
